No. A pallet described as four-way may allow forklift forks to enter from four sides without providing the same access for a hand pallet jack. Notched stringer pallets are a common example: side openings can admit forklift forks, but the jack’s load wheels and lowered fork height may not clear the structure. Equipment access depends on the actual opening and base design, not the four-way label alone.
Before ordering, identify the jack model, lowered fork height, fork width and spacing, and the sides from which operators need to approach. Ask for the entry openings and bottom-board arrangement to be checked against that equipment, then validate compatibility through an appropriate supervised sample trial.
